Erik Emerson is a 15-year veteran of the pharmaceutical industry with an expansive background in sales and marketing. Most recently, Mr. Emerson worked as the Head of Commercial Development for XOMA (U.S.) LLC, where he led multiple business and commercial development deals and was responsible for building the commercial infrastructure for XOMA’s first and only commercial product in its 32-year history. Prior to this, Mr. Emerson advanced his commercial career with a move to Gilead Sciences, where he launched multiple initiatives for Gilead, including a unique program called LabSync®, which streamlined the ordering and tracking of laboratory work on behalf of physician offices and patients. Mr. Emerson began his career in field sales for King Pharmaceuticals before transitioning to sales training.
Kelly Pedrick has been in Technology for over 20 years. He has an extensive background in Networking and Computer systems has used that background as the foundation of his career. Mr. Pedrick leads all aspects of technology and day to day operations for Symplmed Technologies. In former positions been the leader of large organizations, covering all aspects of Server and PC maintenance and responsible for large scale migrations and infrastructure upgrades. Mr. Pedrick worked in the Hospitality and Utility billing industries with a strong focus on Call Center technology and processing. The depth of experience that Mr. Pedrick brings to the organization extends well beyond traditional technology with experience in Disaster Recovery, Development, Business Analysis, Process Improvement, Organizational Change, Offshore Augmentation and Project Management. Mr. Pedrick holds two Masters Degrees in Information Technology and began his professional career by spending 8 years of Active Duty in the United States Coast Guard.
Scott Feldstein joined BioMauris shortly after its establishment in 2013 and was an integral part in the FDA approval process of Prestalia. Mr. Feldstein has a diverse background in project management, education and customer relations. He initiated the transition from an outsourced call center to an internally managed entity and developed the core standard operating procedures and training materials. Mr. Feldstein graduated with a business degree from the University of California, Berkeley. He spent several years living and working overseas and lends a fresh perspective to daily operations at BioMauris.
Serving BioMauris and its partners since February 2015, Ms. McCarthy uses her extensive experience in the medical industry and customer care to develop and manage customer operations programs. In addition to day to day customer operations management she offers support as a business analyst and outreach campaign manager. Developing a strong relationship with and understanding the needs of each business partner allows her to develop programs that help them reach their commercial and retail targets.
Ms. Life provides counsel over a broad range of practice areas, including food and drug law, corporate governance, compliance, and fraud and abuse matters. She is also a noted expert on state and federal compliance with US and international life sciences promotion and transparency laws, as well as the emerging compliance requirements for Adult-Use Marijuana and the Medical Technology and Diagnostics sectors. Ms. Life holds a law degree from the Duke University School of Law.
